NF
Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American musician, rapper as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. He has released two EPs on Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3] and one self-titled EP in 2014. The first album by a major label, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016 and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been recognized with numerous awards. One of them includes the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception was a mainstream hit. It ranked at the top spot in the United States and was also certified platinum. While its third single "Let You Down" reached number twelve on the U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in 2017. Billboard Hot 100 topped the international charts and was a top ten single. The sequel, The Search (2019) was a commercial hit. Feuerstein said that rap was for him as a way to escape his childhood. He would record songs using an karaoke machine and record instrumentals on one mic and his raps on the other. On November 29, 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. The first single he released was, "Alone", on August 2nd, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's writers and producers. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. Feuerstein debuted his expanded play I'm Free on May 2nd 2012 and was produced by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also included an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist was teased about the self-titled, extended play NF. However, Feuerstein quit his contract with the label, and the production of NF was delayed. NF, however, featured an original track "Only One", featuring Shuree Wilkins, from the label's compilation album Move Vol 1. He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on November 4, 2013. Profitt returned to the track, with vocals from Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
